MISSION : THE FOUNDER'S STORY

As a former legal professional, I understand first-hand the impact of relentless stress and physical and mental exhaustion. In the early days of my career, discussing stress—or admitting it could hinder performance—was virtually taboo. Each week, I arrived at London’s High Court with herbal remedies in my pocket, trying to mask the constant anxiety that came with the job. Without resources, guidance, or even basic health awareness, I often witnessed colleagues attempting to self-manage their stress in ways that ultimately compromised their well-being. We simply "sucked it up," a silence that cost us our health and resilience over time.

Years later, as I navigated perimenopause while balancing a corporate role, I faced new challenges. The fluctuations in energy levels, along with unexplained symptoms, felt isolating. Lacking both education and support, I struggled to understand what I now know were hormonal shifts, often wondering if stepping away was the only solution to regain my health.

Reflecting on those years, one realization  stands out: my maladaptive response to stress—defensiveness and internalizing work-related issues—did not serve me well. Sleep loss from rumination and the weight of uncommunicated concerns took a toll that could have been mitigated with effective stress management, personal development, and communication skills. These tools would have provided me the perspective to approach challenges objectively, reduce defensiveness, and communicate openly—skills that now, as a CEO, have been vital to my personal and professional fulfillment.
