It is important to note that routine diagnostic testing is readily available through the NHS or via private healthcare providers. We strongly recommend that any individual experiencing adverse symptoms or health concerns consult their primary healthcare provider as a first step. Routine tests may reveal underlying health issues that require prompt medical attention or more in-depth investigation by a qualified medical consultant.
Should initial testing indicate abnormalities or raise concerns, more comprehensive or specialised diagnostics may be appropriate to provide additional clinical insight, particularly in the context of ongoing or chronic health conditions. Examples may include genetic testing; a full thyroid panel if standard results are outside the reference range; adrenal or estrogen metabolite testing in the context of hormone-related conditions or hormone replacement therapy (HRT); subfertility investigations; an extended lipid profile in individuals with elevated cholesterol or a family history of cardiovascular disease; or advanced gut microbiome analysis.
In addition, advanced biometric tracking—such as continuous glucose monitoring, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, and other physiological markers—may offer valuable real-time feedback. This data can support informed decisions about dietary, lifestyle, and behavioural modifications.
