Whether you are an MD, Executive, Manager or Key Worker, managing stress and maintaining optimal wellbeing can be very challenging at times.   Physical, financial and emotional pressures that so many of us have encountered over the last 18 months, in a myriad of different ways, can take a toll on our mental and physical wellbeing.

  • Our physical or emotional health & circumstances, or challenges in our home life can affect our wellbeing and therefore our work performance: mental health and physical health can fluctuate in us all.

  • It takes know-how to maintain our weight and health when we are up in the early hours, have long commutes and long days often at computer screens: yet with some simple strategies we can still optimise our health and this is covered in the course.  Working from home, whilst beneficial in some ways has brought it's own challenges and we look closely at these and how we can mitigate them.

  • Energy' is the most important 'currency' in the workplace, but how to renew and retain it is what we all aspire to right?   Energy not just for our work, but for our family, friends and hobbies that are so important to us that give us renewal and balance.

  •   Motivation can be even hard to maintain especially in a long career.   We look at the neuroscience of how we harness specific brain chemicals to prevent burnout and keep us focused, engaged and driven to thrive.

  •

THE  'Programme' OFFERS an Energy Audit   :     To Download !

  • Stress can stimulate growth or it can trigger burnout and the line between eustress and distress can be a fine one.

  • Stress is essentially the gap between demands and capacity, but mindset, and perception can hugely affect differences in both physical and psychological response.

  • Sudden changes to job positions or corporate structure can lead to uncertainty or feelings of overwhelm; feeling unmotivated, powerless, unrecognised or unheard.

  •

The Programme Offers An "How Stressed Are Your': Audit   :     To Download!

  • If we self-reflect, we all have personality traits e.g. anger, procrastination, withdrawal or other disadvantageous 'coping mechanisms' which can be our 'automatic response' when we are stressed that do not serve us well, and can hinder both our personal growth and potential in our careers, cause potential conflict and further add to our stress-load in the workplace.

  • Effective communication can hugely lessen the impact of rumination, and aid problem solving. So learning how and when and the best ways to communicate serves everyone.

  • Having empathy for others and recognising as individuals we all have differing strengths that we both need to recognise and praise in others; whilst recognising we all have failings and weaknesses that we can work on all aids in a supportive, efficient and collaborative working environment

  • It can be both challenging, illuminating and sometimes uncomfortable to see in a list the things that are holding us back from optimal performance, but can set in place, through simple, realistic and practical measures the pathway to a much more fulfilling future.

  • All business recognise the need for a varied demographic of both young and older employees, but as the lifespan of an employee progresses often life events: family pressures, children, elderly parents, illness, men and women going through mid-life Menopause and Andropause all can prove challenging to energy and vitality and work performance.

Recent statistics show 47% of women in peri menopause have found their symptoms

challenging to the point of considering retiring from work and 25% percent of women have

conceded they have had time off work due to menopausal symptoms.

  • Men's health statistics for symptoms during andropause have only recently made the news!  Sadly men can be more reluctant to talk about health & life challenges, and how this may impact work performance, nevertheless, we know that lack of statistics do not mean that reduced energy, motivation and overall wellbeing are not a mid-life challenge for men too because medical statistics show this!

  • Improving general health and wellbeing, hormonal balance,  health biometrics serves everyone.   Improved self care and yearly bodily 'MOT's gives a benchmark for monitoring our health year on year - (I mean you wouldn't drive your car with faulty brakes & no oil!?.

  • Understanding of holistic health techniques (breath-work/meditation/tapping/light therapy/sauna/acupunture, etc, can all augment more traditional/medical or other treatment modalities.

MISSION : THE FOUNDER'S STORY

From personal experience, as a one time legal professional, I know how debilitating it feels to be constantly overwhelmed, physically and mentally depleted.  Back in my early working life, to mention you were stressed, and therefore potentially underperforming was a dirty secret you kept well hidden to very much your personal detriment.  That, plus, there was no education, no resource and certainly no health awareness and guidance.   You just 'sucked it up' and your health or wellbeing suffered.

So it is with personal delight that I deliver two Corporate Programmes, which identify 2 key areas of challenges to Health & Wellbeing in the workplace, so everyone is armed with powerful tools to incorporate into their own physical and mental wellbeing plan and journey, so ill health and burnout is greatly minimised.  The first is a Corporate Stress Management & Wellbeing Awareness + Improving Health and Well Being In The Workplace programme.

The second is a Wellbeing in the Workplace 40+ that identifies and educates on the physical, psychological & hormonal challenges that can impact wellbeing and how to optimise hormonal health & other health biometrics in mid-life. This latter programme is designed for both sexes.
